Another chair from the K02 project has been made together with construction company YOHO. As with Sepii the name Lepido comes from the moth and butterflies order Lepidoptera, as a reference to, like a caterpillar, it crawls up against the wall. Though the chair is tree seated, when seated, the two side seated slides against the middle one.
The chair has been shown at S.E.11 (Snedkernes Efterårsudstilling) at Designmuseum Denmark in Copenhagen in 2011 and will be shown at Trapholt Art Museum in Kolding in 2011-2012.
An article about the exhibition has been featured in vol. 155 of Japanese design magazine AXIS.
